What exactly is energy healing?

Reiki is a Japanese healing art that channels universal life force energy (“Rei” meaning universal and “Ki” meaning life energy). It promotes deep relaxation, reduces stress, and harmonizes the body, mind, and spirit. Reiki is often experienced as warmth, tingling or a soothing sense flowing through the body.Pranic healing focuses on cleansing and energizing the aura and chakras using specific techniques to remove stagnant or heavy energy, and replenish it with fresh vital prana(same life force energy used in reiki). This process helps restore, energetic harmony and enhances overall well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Clients may experience feelings of relaxation, tugging and tingling.

I’m Alyssa — a Pisces Sun, Cancer Moon, and Aries Rising for my astrology people. As an omnist & polytheist: I believe that every faith holds truth, and that the many gods, spirits, and forces of creation are all expressions of the same Source energy — unique, yet connected. I am also an animist, so I believe every aspect of nature is alive with spirit. I see spirituality as a living, evolving relationship with the universe — one that honors both light and shadow. As a devotee of Persephone & Hekate, spiritual hygiene and grounding is extremely important to me, especially as someone in a spiritual field(although important for humans in general). This blend of intuition and earth-centered practices support holistic growth and spiritual alignment. I see myself as a seeker; a soul on a continuous journey of growth and healing, here to walk beside others who feel aligned with this path and want to remember our divinity while still embracing our humanity.
